UPCOMING EVENTS:

  • Thursday April 13 6:30 p.m. (tomorrow night) – Journey to the Cross, a self-guided walk through the events of Holy Week in the church sanctuary.

– Choir Rehearsal follows at 7:30 p.m. in room 4.

  • April 16 – Easter Sunday – Empty Egg cartons needed for Sunday morning. Please call or text Linda if you have some (341-8834). If you have ordered an Easter Lily, you may take it home Sunday.
  • April 19 – 5:45 p.m.  – Family Dinner: Fried Chicken, Mashed Potatoes, Mixed Veggies, Salad, Rolls, Beverage & Dessert. Cost: 65+: $4,  Adults: $7, Kids under age 18 eat free. Bath towel donations needed for the church kitchen.

– 6:30 p.m. Adult Bible Study, Adams Hall; Shine!, Youth Group,  Pre-schoolers nursery provided in the main bldg.

  • April 22 2:00-5:00 p.m. Off-Campus Car Wash Fundraiser, Location: Granada & Clyde Morris, Ormond Beach    – Bath towel donations needed. Please just bring them to the church office as soon as you can.
  • April 27 10:00 a.m. Prime Timers Thursday Brunch, BJ’s Academy Band Entertains
  • April 28 – Prime Timers – Still space available for Cracker Creek outing includes Boat Tour & Gamble House. Bring a picnic lunch (chips & drinks provide) Cost: $12; Bus leaves Central at 10 a.m.
  • Apr. 30, May 3, & May 7 – No Lifetree Café these three
  • May 7 – 3:30 p.m. Bel Canto Singers – “The World Beloved: A Bluegrass Mass” Cost $10
  • May 17 – 6:30 p.m. Mission Wednesday
  • May 21 – Prime Timers – Alhambra Dinner Theater production of  “Dream Girls,” Cost: $70,  Round trip bus transportation to Jacksonville included.
  • Performing Arts Camp musical this summer will be “The Prodigal Clown”. We are seeking   circus type props and costuming for this summer activity.  If you have items to donate or loan for this, please see Ruth Bethea or Linda Pigott.  Deadline for Sign-up: June 18.
  • Sign-up Deadline for the Summer Intergenerational Mission Trip is May 1st; fee required is $150 per person with fundraising participation.
