Because of our sense of re-discovered purpose, I hope that you will re-commit yourself to faithfully supporting the work of the church. There is good stuff ahead of us. But our giving is still running behind, and it needs to catch up to our sense of hope. It is easy sometimes to fall out of the habit of supporting the church, particularly if you have not been able to attend worship lately. But the work of the church continues on. There is still good ministry that we are doing (we had 17 youth for a lock-in last Saturday night!), as you can see if you read my article in the monthly Herald. There is much to be hopeful for at Central, and there are folks working hard to turn that hope into reality. So, I hope that you will continue to give faithfully as a part of your spiritual growth.
