The mission team was commissioned last Sunday so they could get an early start this week.
Twelve missionaries from Central Baptist are serving 90 children in inner-city Homestead, FL this week. They are using the VBS curriculum: Gospel Light’s “SonSpark Lab: Discovering God’s Plan 4 U = Jesus.”
One team is exploring Bible stories and scientific laws that are a part of God’s wonderful plan. Some are helping with fitness activities. Others are teaching an introduction to golf as an enrichment activity. There are also fun arts and crafts as well. The team will return Friday evening.
