We will resume our study of the Sermon on the Mount. I will have the meeting room open at 6:15, and then at 6:30 we will go over the prayer list and have prayer, and then start Bible Study afterwards. Zoom Good Friday Service on Friday at noon. For those of you that can join us by video, or want to try, I am more than willing to help you figure it out. For those of you that want to skip the “video” part of it, but would still like to participate, you can dial any of the phone numbers that are in the invitation below. You will enter the meeting ID: 326-231-3643, and enter the password 882551. We will have readings from different people, and have the opportunity to hear some music together. I hope you can join us.
If you would like to practice joining Zoom by phone or by video, I will have the meeting space and password listed above open tomorrow in the morning, from 10-12. Call me to let me know that you are trying to get on, and I’ll stay on the phone with you until we have it worked out.
On Easter Sunday, we will meet again on Zoom at 10 am for a small Easter communion observance. The same meeting ID and password will apply ID: 326-231-3643, and enter the password 882551.. We will catch up with each other in the Zoom meeting room at 9:45, and then at 10:15, we will start the brief Easter service. To prepare for this, I invite you to have some flowers in your background of your screen, to wear something bright for Easter, and have some bread and grape juice (or the juice of your choice) ready to go. Remember that we will have a special Easter service on our first Sunday that we are back together.
I know that it is not the same, and it doesn’t feel the same, but it is what we can do for right now. As always, be on the lookout for phone calls from church members and look out for opportunities to call others. Please remember the church with your tithes. Remember to stay safe! I love you all!
