I just want to take one last opportunity to invite you to our special events
this weekend. “Christmas Unplugged “is the special Christmas pageant that we
have been working on this fall. We will perform it tomorrow night at 6 PM.
We have all generations represented, and it is a cute story . Make sure that
you make plans to be there tomorrow, and bring a friend. After the
performance, we will have a reception over in Adams Hall, so bring your
favorite Christmas dessert and share in some of the fellowship!
Also, on Sunday morning, the choir will present, “Lessons in Carols. This
will also be a wonderful celebration of the Christmas story of God’s love
for humankind, and the coming of Christ, presented in music form. As a
special treat, Penny Redfearn is going to be our guest organist on Sunday
morning, to accompany the hymns that we sing. So make special plans to be
there as well.
I do hope that you will take advantage of these opportunities for worship,
for reaffirming the Christmas Spirit, and for being with our brothers and
sisters in Christ.
